Pickup truck motor trends often tend to feature freshened-up retreads of previous releases.

Not so with the Chevy Silverado.

Thanks to Chevrolet’s state-of-the-art ingenuity, the Silverado continually tops trucking lists of the most popular and preferred full-sized pickups.

The reason the Silverado continues to resonate with pickup lovers is no secret. Every year, Chevrolet reinvents the stalwart 4×4 with galvanizing features, as seen in the Sherman Chevrolet display of the 2019 Chevy Silverado LT and RST. A tough redesign, more durable materials, bolder accessories and less exterior chrome refine the new Silverado without compromising superior road handling.

These particular features attract customers to our dealership’s Sherman location, where we have plenty of Silverados for sale:

Upgraded technology: The 2019 Silverado Technology package unites audio and graphics in simple, integrative infotainment units. Controls on the visually crisp 8-inch touchscreen facilitate immediate response to commands and frequently used menu selections, such as audio and phone. Bose Audio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, all standard features, are at your fingertips with the touch of the Home Button and convenient shortcut icons.

Lighter and stronger: Higher-grade steel beefs up the new Silverado’s chassis and truck bed. The aluminum hood, tailgate and doors reduce the pickup’s weight by 450 pounds. Still, the Silverado maintains its unswerving signature stability, powerful torque and remarkable towing capacity under challenging driving conditions.

Cylinder deactivator for fuel economy: Drivers can boost fuel economy with Delphi’s DSF, a randomized cylinder deactivator. Randomized deactivation allows a Silverado with a 5.3-or 6.2-liter V8 engine to coast or cruise on fewer cylinders instead of chugging along on the full V8.

Advanced safety alerts: The Silverado series has abundant safety alerts bundled into a comprehensive advanced alert system, which includes: Lane Change Blind Side Zone Alert, Front and Rear Parking Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Forward Collision Alert, Following Distance Indicator, Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking and Front Pedestrian Braking.

OnStar and All-Star plans: OnStar and All-Star further define the new Silverado releases. OnStar is standard for all 2019 Silverado trims. The optional All-Star Edition, available for the LT, RST and LT Trail Boss trims, consists of a locking wheel differential and bundles conveniences and trailering equipment into their own distinctive packages. The All-Star edition’s Convenience Package is loaded with amenities such as a 10-way power driver seat with lumbar adjustment, heated driver and passenger seats, remote start, content theft alarm, keyless open and start feature, and split bench with under-seat storage. Each trim has its own set of deluxe Convenience Package accessories.
