Chevrolet has just released their all-new 2021 Trailblazer to eager drivers. This small SUV has a lot in common with the 2021 Trax in terms of looks and overall feel. But what are the differences between these two similar SUVs? Here’s a quick guide to help you distinguish them.

First, there are the powertrain options. The Trailblazer gives you multiple choices, including the standard 1.2-liter turbo engine and the more powerful ECOTEC® 1.3-liter turbo engine. The Trax only offers a single engine option: the 1.4-liter turbo four-cylinder engine.

Next, there’s the cargo room. The Trailblazer offers 25.3 cubic feet of cargo room behind the second row, and 54.4 cubic feet when the seats are folded down. The Trax offers a little less standard space with 18.7 cubic feet behind the back seats, and 48.4 cubic feet with folded seats.

In terms of available technology, there are also plenty of differences. The Trailblazer comes standard with wireless smartphone connectivity, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi® hotspot, and a 7-inch infotainment touch screen. The Trax offers much of the same, but lacks features like smartphone connectivity and wireless charging.

Finally, there are the different editions of each vehicle. The 2021 Trailblazer offers five different trim levels, including the L, LS, LT, ACTIV, and RS. The 2021 Trax offers only two trims: the LS and LT.
